Terminator Bust Sculpture
I participated in a 3-day sculpture seminar held by Mr. Hiroshi Katagiri, a legendary artist who has worked on many famous movies, from December 12~14, 2023.
The theme of the seminar was to make a bust of your favorite character using clay, so I made a Terminator out of clay.
I usually sculpt digitally, so it was refreshing to actually touch and create with clay. I learned a lot and really enjoyed it wholeheartedly.
I will definitely participate again.
I really enjoyed the fact that we had 30 minutes to make it first, then destroy everything, get a lecture, and then make it all over again.
At first I was going to just make Arnold Schwarzenegger's face, but towards the end of the second day, I decided to make his face half broken.
On the last day, we played with hairstyles for a while and then started the finishing work.
